GardenKitchenHome started with a broken shower caddy.
The plastic one rusted in six months. The "premium" stainless one fell off the wall twice. The third — bought in frustration at a department store — lasted eight weeks before the suction cups gave up. Three caddies in a single year, all destined for a landfill they had no business being in.
We started GardenKitchenHome to make the version that should have existed the whole time: a shower caddy designed to hook over the shower arm itself, finished in matte black powder-coat that resists rust, with anti-sway pads, marine-grade stainless hardware, and capacity to actually hold the bottles you own. From there, we expanded into the rest of the bath — soap dishes, towels, body wash — and slowly outward into the kitchen and the home.
Objects for daily rituals: showering, washing, eating, sleeping. We choose materials that age well — powder-coated steel, stone, linen, glass, brass — and pass on anything that depends on planned obsolescence. We work with small workshops in California, Italy, and Portugal who do single things very well.
No fast launches. No 80% off "sales" that aren't really sales. No press releases announcing colors. We launch a product when it's ready, not when the marketing calendar says so. When it sells out, it sells out — we'd rather make less and make it better.
Slowly. On purpose. If you want to know what we're working on, the newsletter is the only place we announce things. We don't post on social media every day. We don't run flash sales. We just make things we believe in and try to get them into your bathroom.
